Photolyfe: Paul Crétinon
A photographic Q&A with the altruistic Frenchman.
Welcome to PhotoLyfe, in which Stab’s favourite photographers answer questions about themselves with their own images. It’s that old picture-tells-a-thousand-words chestnut but with more colour and pop. It’s a way to cut out all the bullshit. It’s like jacking into the main vein of those who supply us with exquisite surf imagery every day. Give thanks by studying each image with a more careful eye than ever!
In this episode we introduce to you lens aficionado; Paul Crétinon of Pau, in the French southwest. Viewing Paul’s portfolio you’ll notice a refreshing blend of subjects; from clean wave-porn to abstract overlays, textures and lineups (some of which @stab has shared on occasion), to animals and nature. You see, Paul is an animal support worker. Aside from putting his expertise behind the camera to work for the surf industry, he has a full-time role with an animal protection organisation. Slide on down and enjoy a fine selection of captures from our European model citizen.
