Stephanie Gilmore should be doing the QS, she has all her chances to qualify for next year CT.
There are five or six girls who are surfing as good as a lot of guys I’m watching in the QS, and they should do the same comps as the guys. The others are more than boring to watxh, especially in shitty waves.
It would enable to brands to keep their business alive, they can carry on giving us chicks surfing with their butts like Blanchard, but the girls who are actually really surfing should be rewarded with more prize money, more comps, more sponsors and more recognition!

Ha ha she can’t be serious I swear women surfers are blind they are so far behind the men it’s not funny and they’ll never catch up. Men usually don’t want to hurt their feelings by telling them.They get more than they deserve for how good or bad they are. There’s 1000′s and 1000′s of unsponsored male surfers out there who are 10 times better than Steph and the rest. Women still havnt even probly mastered “the tube ride” or “the Air”yet . No women are lucky they’ve got a tour.

Dane, you’re plain wrong. Some of these girls would make a lot of them guys feel ridiculous in serious waves, but yoy don’t know them, because they don’t have Alana Blanchard butt or Coco Ho smile, or any other chick sold for her body and not for her surfing. That’s most of the girls who are exposed, but there are really, really good surfing girls…But business is business and a normal girl surfing and not interested by pictures of her in bikini won’t sell bikinis…

funny $#!T being spewed on this thread about Steph and girls surfing in general. Stephanie is the Real eal. Having only seen her surfing on my tiny 24 inch (don’t know the metric breakdown of inches) she has flow style and a mean cutback/turn combo. Also gets barreled with style and grace. So what she can’t d airs! If she could, the same dickheads would complain about her lack of rail work. So people just bitch to bitch! I bet IF she couldn’t ride a barrel very well – she wouldn’t get set waves BEHIND the rock at Snapper. Congrates Stephanie and here’s looking at Number 6! BUT if “all” she gets is 5, it IS still f–king AMAZING! And for all you haters out there – Carrissa is a clear rival to her. Even Kelly didn’t win the title again after he won his first. BUT I do think IF Stephanie didn’t taken out by some psychotic Aussie SHE would be holding 6 fingers up and the Channel No. 5 would be No. 6! Now lets get on to the US OPEN…
