Watch: Mason Ho In “License To Chill”

When you’re lost in this surf industry as we are from time to time, there’s always talk about the next new surfer. Who turns the needle, who sells product, who are the kids into these day? The talk always flows in a similar fashion. Is it John John? Well, we don’t have Hurley budget anyway. Is Jack Robinson the one? What about Jay Davies? But, eventually, the conversation always arrives to Mr Mason Ho.

Why? Because he’s real and uncontrived and doesn’t conform to any stereotypes. Sure, he’s from that Ho lineage but he’s much than that famous surname. Mason reads waves differently to most skilled men. When some see danger in rocks, Mason sees opportunity. Mason surfs with an irreverence that makes you want to keep watching. 

Anways, we’re calling  Mason’s new License to Chill will be the web series of the year and we rate this first episode in Bali right up alongside the final in Creed McTaggart’s Real Axe episode.
