Kelly Slater, Kelly motherfucking Slater! After all the criticism of Kelly’s slow start to the year and the Banana board, the man with his very own wave in Lemoore just sent a stifling reminder that he is, and will always be one of the world’s greatest. Today at Chopes, he surfed his third perfect heat of his career. Then in the quarters slipped into another perfect ten and followed it up with a 9.27. 2008 Tahiti Pro winner, Bruno Santos was looking lethal, until Kelly pulled out his sawed-off-shotgun and sprayed near perfection towards the judges at the End of the Road.
