This Is A QS1000 Heat Worth Watching
Taj Burrow, Mikey Wright, Jack Robo and Pepin Hendrik at Keramas.
You ever battled through a QS1000 webcast? No? Well, in all honesty, nor have we. We assume, however, if you can connect to the internet, a low-rated QS is not something you’d waste your data on without a loved one trying to break into surf superstardom. Mikey Wright won the above heat with an 18.10, followed by Jack Robo (17.90), Taj Burrow (15.25), Pepin Hendrik (9.30). The Komune Bali Pro, presented by the Mad Hueys, is an exception to such pretension as it tends to attract folks like Taj Burrow (last year’s winner), Sebastian Zietz, Adriano de Souza and Kai Otton for this year. While last year, Joel Parkinson, Bruce Irons and more joined the fun. Sweet dreams are made of this!
