Pt. Nemo’s Pama Davies reel is recommended viewing.
Hailing from the one of the world’s most crowded, mediocre stretches of sand (that is Bondi Beach), Pama Davies must take delight when he’s asked to go on an overseas trip for a sponsor’s photoshoot. Especially when it’s the Telo Islands in Indonesia. The light-footed freesurfer recently signed with surf luxe label Pt. Nemo who took him and QS rider Georgia Fish, on a team trip to shoot in the region with surfing’s most photogenic lineups.
If you’re unfamiliar with Mr Davies and his abilities, here’s a refresh:
As Pt. Nemo’s a fresh name in the higher-end of the surf fashion game we thought they deserved an introduction. Point Nemo is the term given to the oceanic location that lies furthest from any landmass in the world – 48° 52´ 36´S 123° 23´ 36´W for your trivial purposes. Co-founded by Tom Batrouney and Nikki Ciancio, who between them have a stack of years in fashion and the surf industry, have birthed a label that exists to produce easier-wearing threads of the utmost quality. We’re talking Italian made top-shelf kind of quality, from everyday wear linen t-shirts to premium knitwear. They source fabrics and work with a team of experienced men and women in Italy, (actually profiling the entire production team on their website) to create a range of the highest quality while remaining sustainable.
Here’s a more visual presentation of the label, the work of highly regarded film-maker Tyge Landa (who’s shots have graced productions of the Elsewhere and Cluster caliber), featuring shots of the range and more of the delightful Georgia.
And more of an aesthetically pleasing peek at the fine produce of the Pt. Nemo establishment, please enjoy:
