Sherm’s In The Band With Donavon Frankenreiter

Steve Sherman has always had an inside track with the stars that not many other photogs can get. And, mostly, within the medium of portraiture. So, when Donnie Frankenreiter booked his Start Livin’ tour through Europe, it was an easy choice to ask for Sherm’s company. Not only to take photos, but also to play bongos onstage and, ultimately, create a debut film series. Called Sherm’s In The Band and co-created by Kevin Longwell, the series will offer a personal look at what it’s like touring the world, playing festivals and travelling with dear Donnie’s family. Kinda documentary-style, but mostly just awesome. Coming real soon.

From his vantage point behind the bongos, and in between dancing his fingers across 'em, Sherm snaps Donnie connecting with his adoring audience.
