Round two is looking sharp
Posted 01 Oct 2012, by STABmagShifty straight-handers with few corners greeted the Quik Pro for the last three heats of round one. Jordy and Gabs taking heats and the upset of the day sitting in Kieren taking down Julian (KP is brilliant in any tube, as you know).
Oh, we know round two can be typically dreary. This draw is more exciting than usual: Joel, John, Josh, Julian (so many J’s!), Kolohe and Owen v Wilko. Especially good for those readers based in Australia, please continue enjoy an event that starts at 4pm and runs into the evening. Surf contests never tasted so good!

STAB, you are like an ex-girlfriend that we can not quite get rid of, yet hook up with regularly. Occasionally doling out a handy, but otherwise keeping us hoping for that sparkle of old fire from when the mag was young and tight, we are now generally annoyed with all the little habits, such as expounding about “So many j’s….ohhhhh”. Really? Round one was a puddle of dog urine, and the thought of watching round two in the same dumpy crap surf, at 3 in the morning does not bode well no matter who is in the round. Small France is arguably the worst surf on Tour, and hardly worth a mention, except obviously there was nothing else to post about shark culling

Outstanding description of STAB and France. Hopefully Wilko, Wiggolly, Kerrsy, Yadin, Knox and Melling all get up but I’m probably dreaming on at least some of these.
