If you missed out on the webcast from Rio this morning (which is highly likely since, as Billabong’s Stirling Howland told KS via Twitter, the satellite van backed into a tree), here’s some of the action that you would’ve seen broadcast.

Agreed, this would be an ok 2 or 3* QS event. Medina would do foamball air reverses all the way to the finals and eventually win the contest. the brazzos would be static but it would never make it to the stab pages so there’d be no delusional comments on how brazzos are the chosen ones in every respect of surfing. and we would all move on with our lives.

This is the worst place for a CT contest, I know we say that each year, I know why they’re doing the comp in Rio, but still, I’m amazed to see that a bad day at my beach is still better than this… I love to watch webcasts, but this is too painfull, even a lull at Lowers is better than a wave in Rio.

Me and my brother were the only good sefurrs in my family and after he injureder himself one day, he didnt really surf anymore. So Im the only good surfer in my family Its really fun but you have to be aware of everything

this wave is more fun than any of sydney’s eastern suburbs beaches and rio is way more fun than sydney… i don’t think they’re having the contest there for wave quality anyway…
Of course there is wort place than Rio, of course we all know why they’re doing the comp there, but still, t the end, the aim is to have people watching the comp. I don’t. If a lot of people prefers to watch something else, they’ll think twice before chooing bad venues.
Loser, I live in the south west of France, less girls than in Rio, but I’m sure they’re girls anyway…As for waves, beach breaks, but of a better kind!

Is it just me but these highlight videos are plain lazy. How about naming the surfer and wave score? Give it some context.

Pile of undiluted horse shit! After watching the Nike Pro and seeing where they’re at, to this shit. Shit waves, shit webcast, shit camera work, shit commentary….chirst just keep the cameras on the tits and you’ll probably get more hits because the surfing isn’t gonna.

I’m so happy to have been able to watch 3 ft waves in Rio, with the sun, the tits and asses, nice cars, people on the beach, a rock standing here to hide the surfers, GT with a nice Tshirt, and all my favorites surfers showing they’re quite as happy as I am to be in Rio, with the sun, the asses and tits, the nice brazilian swimsuits and shoes, and the bikes. Rio is soooo nice a town, and I couldn’t imagine another occasion to visit the city, thanks the ASP for giving me th chance to see a nice city like Rio! I’m so happy!
And one thing that makes me happier than the rest is the girls’ comp! It’s so good to watch the girls scoring 4 and 5s in the beachbreak, I love surfing, I’m so happy I’ll shve my hairs and smoke them right now.

Rio WT 2013!
yea..would be fun to surf this wave..but just watching it on the laptop, after gazing into lowers perfection however? Wack attack broz. If it was big, it would be cool but sadly it aint. It it was a rifling skeleton bay type barreling left, it would be sick. but it aint. Hopefully one of the 50 brazzos I picked for my fantasy team will take this and we can be onto the next one.
