Posted 27 Apr 2012, by STABmagThe Garage Sale Trail have just signed lover of sustainability, Dave Rastovich. “In 2009 he was extended one of just 300 invitations to attend former US Vice President Al Gore’s The Climate Project – Asia-Pacific Summit,” writes the team. “In 2005 Dave co-founded the Surfers for Cetaceans (S4C) movement, which serves to highlight marine and coastal-related environmental issues, and also led to the foundation of TransparentSea, with co-founder Howie Cook.” Everyone knows Rasta digs caring and sharing where the environment’s concerned, so it’s no surprise that he’s become involved with an initiative to minimise rubbish. ‘Scuse the cliche, but one man’s trash is another’s treasure, after all.
