O’Neill aids Durban surfing rehab clinic
Posted 14 Jun 2012, by STABmagHere’s a tear jerker. Umthombo is a Durban based organisation aimed at helping street kids and juvenile drug addicts to a better life. And how do they do this? Supplying them with surf gear, among other things, and getting them in the water. Jordy Smith, Oneill and former South African World Tour surfer, Paul Cannings are all involved with the project and by the looks of it they’re working wonders. Check what these kids are doing with only a couple of years of boardriding behind them. That reverse on the rip bowl left? Jellin’!
Respect to you guys. A great approach to solving a real problem.
