Nat Young went totally crazy in Africa. And scored really good waves. The prince of Steamer Lane didn’t find any lefts, but he knows how to get it done on his backside, and in other parts of the world, too. And even more exciting is the increasing presence of the backside mute air-reverse!

Too funny, the people that stick up for these guys are classic. On the one hand, they want to say “Awwwww you are all haters! they made the CT, you are sooooo jealous”. Then in the next breath its “CT sucks!These guys rip, so leave em alone!” Usually this refers to Dane, who is a good guy, but a feeble competitor and has a couch potato work ethic. Nothin wrong with that, as long as the opinion is consistent. How about make up your minds, Donkeys. Kolohe IS crumbling under the pressure, Dane CANNOT string two turns together in a heat, and Wardo IS an underachieving dick with a bad attitude that hampers him. I love watching these guys surf, but they could have been the best. Margo was the best free surfer in the World for years. He would enter comps, win em, and use the money to travel more. He didn’t like comps either, but nobody ever has anything bad to say about Margo….bloody legend! That is what separates There exists a difference here between people like Nat Young, and guys like Wardo. Its NOT ability either. Its an intangible that we like in our heros and athletes. Its called ‘character’. Guys work hard, rule it, or we love em for trying hard. lack of effort, or guys who are just bad guys get called out.

Nat’s backhand attack reminds me of Mick Fanning’s on some of his top turns. I prefer Nat’s surfing over such primadonnas such as Khloe Andino and his “Reverse-On-Every-Wave-Scared-Of-Real-Surf” style.

See, here is a guy who is a good dude…non-controversial, hard working, rips, and most comments are about his blazing backhand (if’ F***ing a freckle fart’ is that). We need way more of this guy, and far less over hyped Andino, lazy as f**k Dane Reynolds, or ultra dick face Wardo. Kolohe is the next Todd Marinovich.
Yeah sore kooknats, your really a great judge of anything that maters. Danes real bad and Kolohe is terrible after qualifying in a half of a season, and Wardo well thats an opinion that can be shared, but still he is a brilliant surfer. What amazes me is that all the haters on Andino are just feeding the machine of jealousy, the kid just turned 18 and there isnt one other kid in the same age group ( jj is almost 20 and medina is 19) that has done anything and you still hate, its actually laughable that after winning all those events last year and making the ct u guys still are so jealous u cant even see straight, oh well your killing it on the message board.
