“The sun was out, Snapper was actually breaking behind the rock and the pro’s have arrived home,” says photog Simon Muirhead of the scene at Snapper yesterday. By pros he means Joel Parkinson and the man pictured here, Mick Fanning. Between the Europe leg and the soon-to-begin O’Neill Cold Water Classic, Santa Cruz, it ain’t hard to believe Mick wanted to slice home for a stint and loosen up at his home break. Snapper breaking behind the rock (and, summer tuning up) just sweetens the deal.
