Kolohe’s time on the GC

When you’ve worked your entire life to make the big leagues, it sure does put the pressure on your first event as a world tour surfer. Here’s a look at some free surfing of Kolohe’s time around the GC and his run at equal 13th place in the Quik Pro. For someone as hyped as Brother, it’s kinda the perfect result: one win from three heats. Enough to not flatten your confidence and rids you of the hubris of an electric opening result. Almost every rookie, besides Gabs Medina, has taken at least a few events to find their hooves. Next stop: Bells. Yes!

A glowing example of why short-shorts are a bad idea. Still surfs a little too horizontal for my liking: rarely do I see him come square off the bottom and go vert.
