Julian Wilson: La Réunion – episode two
Some time ago, but not too long, like, maybe two months, Julian Wilson went to Reunion Island with Jordy Smith. The blueprint was succinct – Kai Neville would nail the final section of Jordy’s new film, it would star both Jules and Jordy, and in the process the duo would take hot shots at a 720 (should the opportunity present itself). Episode two of Julian Wilson: La Réunion sees the crew take to a left and, if you’re wondering why Jules is wearing a three-quarter suit in the tropics, it’s cause he was clocking daily 10-hour sessions and was rashed good and proper.

Jordy needs to do something here, his contest surfing is shit and his freesurfing is so subpar as of late? He is gifted with an amount of talent that is so rare, what the fuck is going on? is it his chick? druggs? arrogance overload? fuck! somebody smack him in his face, tell him to get dialed in on boards and fucking focus! We want the old, raw, powerful, light footed and fast Jordy back in our respective but pathetic surf lives! Faaark man, get it together
