You remember the session at Cloudbreak this year when the Volcom Fiji Pro was called off, the day many called the blackest day in pro surfing’s history? Let’s not go into that again now, but you might also remember that John John paddled out without a vest or flotation device and grabbed this thing here alongside the world’s best big wave surfers. No wonder hearts melt when this kid is on the main stage.
