There was once a time when hot-doggers put wax in their hair as well as on their boards (though, it wasn’t the same kinda wax). For those who are that way inclined, the 1950s barbershop kink still exists. A company who vibe on this is Uppercut. Inspired by a travelling Irish boxer who lived through the depression but never left home without a fresh tie and box of hair grease, Uppercut’s now a family-owned joint that makes a bunch of different hair-shapers. They’ve just teamed up with Insight to produce the Lite Might hair wax, which “balances tack with dry finish for a natural looking hold.” It retails for $22, lands in store in a coupla weeks and, if this is your bag, is a good addition to the bathroom cupboard.
