what separates dane and guys like torrey is wasted movements. when you watch dane, he draws lines that dont require double pumps or arm flails. everything is linked together, but still appears spontaneous. everyone these days can throw slob threes but you should flow in and out of them with minimalism

response 3 has got a point. There were only a couple turns, the rest were some sort of air. Airs are cool but do I have to see the same air over and over again?
like to see a better mix up to show the guy has got the rail game too.

Shredding…I like seeing a good mix of turns as well, but i’d much rather see airs on small waves like these. Torrey can definitely put it on rail too. If he actually had a sponsor, maybe he could travel somewhere good and we’d be able to see a better mix on better waves.

i like torey but i honestly hated this video. he’s much more fun to watch in real surf and trunks. leave the small california shit in wetsuits to dane, kolehe, rosa and simpo.
