Glen ‘Micro’ Hall wins Mr Price Pro, Ballito

He beat Nathaniel Curran in the final after toasting Nat Young and Jack Freestone in the semis and quarters. Winning a contest feels good, but winning a contest and qualifying for the WT feels even better. And though it ain’t over til it’s over, Micro’s now sitting at number 16th on the world rankings, so… yup. Micro’s gameplan for South Africa totally worked out! “I’m not doing JBay and I’m proud of my choice,” he said of the now-six star event. “I came here and put all eggs into one basket because if you are here to qualify its about the Primes. That’s my focus so I’m taking it to the next event in America.” Props to the man.
Glenn Hall, Nathaniel Curran, I can’t wait for next year CT, I hope Gabe Kling will qualify too, it’s gonna be great to watch contests!

Good for you micro. I had the pleasure of sharing some waves with him at north avoca a while back and a nicer guy you’d be hard pressed to find.
