Posted 16 Apr 2012, by STABmag
The smoke’s only just cleared on the New Zealand water, after the gal’s world tour stormed through there (and saw Steph Gilmore winning her second outta three finals this year), but in just two days the fourth womens world tour event kicks off. The Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic, Dee Why. The 17 top gals will battle for a piece of the richest prize purse in women’s surfing: USD$130,000. With rivalries forming between Steph, Sal Fitz, Carissa Moore and Steph Gilmore, the gal’s contests get better every time. Tune in for the live webcast in two days.
