Fatal shark attack in South Africa
Posted 20 Apr 2012, by STABmagDavid Lilienfeld, 20, has died in South Africa following a fatal shark attack. During a surf at Gordon’s Bay, David was pulled underwater by a five-meter Great White, at which point his leg was severed by the shark before being pulled onto rocks by his brother and two friends. David died before paramedics arrived by boat. Recent shark attacks in the same area have resulted in the death of Lloyd Skinner in Jan 2010 and the loss of British tourist Michael Cohen’s right leg last year.
