From the very beginning when ASP’s broadcast truck backed into a tree and knocked out the webcast for most of opening morning, to John’s full-rote in the final, Stab loved the colour of this contest! Because he IS one of the surf co.s. GT (Greg Tomlinson) is the co-founder/VP of Marketing for Von Zipper. And Billabong owns Von Zipper. It’s all part of the Bro Network. It doesn’t mean he’s not a total tool, which he is, but that’s why he gets on air.
It was awesome to watch (not the first day surely) but overall great big city contest. hands down
