After watching the Olympics for a few days – I am so glad surfing is not in it – we should also all be glad that we are surfers and not rowers or swimmers etc, that shit is just hard with no fun – this vid showed heaps of talent, difficulty and fun – surfing gets the GOLD medal. yay surfing.

John John is fucken sick. After watching this I’m so pumped to see him go head to head with Medina for the next decade (and absolutley decimate him!). I knew JJ ripped and charged but I’d never seen him do airs like this. I hope Teahupoo is 8-10ft and pumping, if it is we might just see JJ’s emergence as a dominant force. He won’t content for a world title this year, but my god, he’s the future for sure.

Regarding this edit though, it was a bit slow. I’d like to see more real-time stuff to get a gauge on just how quick this guys are spinning. Chippa in particular is amazing at spinning and throwing in a tweaked grab, but in slow motion you lose the impact of just how technical he is getting and how quickly he is able to react and adjust.
Anyone else think Carissa Moore is a seriously underrated hottie?
Id like to see chippa project up a bit more than out.
