He grew up on a lake for Christs sake….Three hours from surf, made the WCT and became one of the best ever at the heaviest wave in the world (won the event once)…while also staying on the cutting edge of small wave surfing for 20 years. He’s married to the same girl he has been with for 15 years and is raising two kids.

I personally love Cory’s style. One of my all time favorites for sure.

I am a 72 year old grandmother from Kansas, with pointed titties and a girdle, and know nothing about surfing. Every guy on tour rips, but not all are fun to watch surf all the time, and there are a lot better surfers to watch that STAB never posts clips of. If we spent all our time ball kissing with “biggest air ever!” , or “Legend” it would be sad and sappy. I just love the fact that all the LOST riders get the biggest defense whenever anyone posts a negative (but true) comment. They all kill it, but they all are underachievers.
