Chippa Drops A Big Spin
As we reminded y’all yesterday, the Kustom Airstrike is in it’s final six days. But Cabarita’s Chris ‘Chippa’ Wilson ain’t given up yet – he’s just dropped another entry into the mix which is undoubtedly going to cause a stir and keep him in the running for the 50 K. Chippa says of the trick:
“It’s a skate move called a ‘Big Spin’. It’s basically a backside 360 board varial, with a 180 body varial thrown in as well.
“The move is innovative because it’s something completely different to what we normally do on surfboards. I like to bring some skate style into my surfing. It’s no flip, but its way more innovative than anything I’ve ever done!”
Stab once again refererred to two of our in-the-know judges, Kai Neville and James ‘Jimmicane’ Wilson, for their thoughts on the trick.
