“We view this attack as an extremely serious matter and have taken urgent action to contain the incident and prevent further attacks occurring,” said Billabong after hackers posted close to 35k “unencrypted text passwords” from the Billabong.com store. The, uh, ‘hacktivists’ are said to have released the credentials under #WikiBoatWednesday. Billabong said the customer database didn’t contain and financial data, only personal information.
