It looked like they were doing things right. And I hear the movie is pretty good.
Not as excellent as “In Gods Hands” but still pretty damn good.

I love how everyone forgets that they too were once new. There’s plenty of room for the lifers in the winter, and it’s not like we can’t just paddle around all the kooks to snake their waves in the summer anyways.
fortunately I live in a place where everyone surfs year round, and there are no ‘summer kooks’…wait, that means its packed with these guys year round! I am so embarrassed, that I am going home to put on my Snuggy, and put all my boards up for sale. This sport is just too lame now. It was much better when it was just drug dealers, rebels, angry locals, and kids that wanted to be them.

Why do you endorse the blasphemy put forth from one of the main sources that corrupted the purity of surfing: Hollywood. And yes, I know the movie has been endorsed by Greg Long etc but really Stab? Y’all need to get off the nuts of places like Surf Saturdays and get edgy.
I’m from NYC and Surf Saturdays is a coffee shop with ugly clothes in it! Oh yea I think they have a couple of extremely expensive surfboards for the ridiculously rich in there too.
