Andrew ‘Droid’ Doheny was excellent at the Oakley World Pro Juniors, in Bali. Kid was eliminated by Zeke Lau in the semis, scooped an equal third, and was totally fine with it. “I thought I’d be bummed,” he said. “But I’m actually really stoked. Even though I finished second here last year, I didn’t expect to get as high as third this year.” Here’s a premium selection of waves he caught during the event. He really surfs quite well. I’d love to see how you net surfers go at Keramas. I’m absolutely fucking woeful compared to this guy, but what’s the point in giving him stick when I’m not seeing ‘Doobie in a jersey, in bali’ or ‘Bm in a jersey, in bali’. You blokes are just plain gay.

Andrew is not tentative at all, but just goes for it. Sorry if you prefer clean lines. I like colors drawn outside the lines. As a professional, he still learning. I don’t care if he makes his own boards or not. Very interesting lines. The guy is an artist. Not interested in his interviews, but his surfing is tight.

Droid is a ripper; doesn’t hold back. Only suggestion is to get a coach or some guys that can help him with heat strategy. His surfing is top-notch. He could be ranked much higher.
