A rare moment of beauty, New Jersey Inlet, US

Recently, the waves were good in New Jersey. There’s a perfectly ordinary English sentence. A 45-minute drive from New York, you’ll find this inlet. But don’t get excited – the last time it broke was eight months ago, and before that, five years. See that tower on the rock wall? There’s another one on the opposite wall, which photog Ryan Mack climbed to get this angle of Mike Dunphy, Thommy Ihnken and Clay Pollioni. Well worth perching on a shaky tower to get a shot like this, right? By the time that tunnel behind the rock reaches the pack, it’ll throw again and dreams’ll come true.
